These breathtaking photographic prints, taken from the book Our Frozen Planet, capture the sublime beauty and fragile power of the Earth’s icy landscapes – from vast glaciers and frozen peaks to intricate patterns shaped by wind, light, and time.

Captured by glaciologist and photographer Michael Hambrey and geologist Jürg Alean, these photographs reveal the artistry of nature on a monumental scale. Every detail – from crystalline structures to sweeping mountain vistas – tells a story of transformation and endurance in the planet’s coldest realms.

Pictured: Hardinger Icefield, Alaska – an example of a highland icefield on the Seward Peninsula, southern Alaska. Such ice masses differ from ice caps in having an undulating surface with mountains projecting above them. The mountains that are surrounded by ice are known as 'nunataks'.

Printed on premium giclée fine art paper, each image is rendered with exquisite sharpness and tonal depth, preserving the subtle blues, silvers, and textures of the frozen world. Available in three sizes, they make striking statement pieces for interiors — from homes and studios to galleries, offices, and educational spaces.

A3 print (29 x 42cm), mounted to fit a 45 x 60cm frame – £150 (inc. VAT + postage)
